Mercurius FM

ABOUT

Mercurius FM is an Electronic Music Artist & DJ currently based in Phoenix, Az. Heralded by Rolling Stone Magazine Online for his remix of Marvin Gaye‘s soul classic, Sexual Healing, as making “one of the greatest songs ever written even sexier. It may be possible to get pregnant just by playing this.” Then, his first official remix, a techno reworking of dance veteran, Azzido Da Bass‘s “This Is Not A Love Song” was released on Beatport & iTunes via Pacha Recordings (Ibiza).  He’s always in the studio making new tracks, many of which have been played live by popular DJs including Justice, MSTRKRFT & One Man Party (of Soulwax). His first single SLUG was released on Broken Synth, a record label he founded for releasing promo tracks & helping new artists. This was followed up by his debut EP, 1997, which charted in the Top 100 Techno Releases on Beatport. It features remixes by Valerna & Dim Mak artist, Clockwork, released on Idiot House Records, the label of Acid Jack. Following that up, he remixed House Music legend Eddie Amador & Automatic Panic‘s new track, Morning After, with Mercurius FM‘s signature crushing techno drums & unique synth work.

Inspired by the prolific French House producers of the late 90s & early 2000s, while other kids were out making friends & excelling in sports, Mercurius FM was in his bedroom making the hottest jams he could. Now, Mercurius FM works in his own studio surrounded in gear older than he is. He does everything himself in his studio, from writing to mixing, to the final mastering stages.

As a DJ, his style is very fun & energetic. A music connoisseur’s wonderland of bouncing bass finely crafted into exciting dancefloor moments. He’s rocked parties with acts including Felix Da Housecat, DJ Gina Turner, One Man Party (Soulwax), & headlined several shows himself.  Mercurius FM is currently developing new sounds and looking forward to performing a face melting live show in your city.
